Copied from Belpre Cross Country and Track & Field:
It was a rainy and cold night of track and field at Ritchie County, but that didn’t stop our athletes from working hard.
The girls team was lead by Julia Way who finished second in the 200 and third in the 400. She also was the first leg in the third place 4x8 team along with Shy Miller, Lila Dugan, and Samarra Wolfe. Other scorers included Shy Miller (7th in the 800 & 8th in the 1600), Lila Dugan (6th in the 3200), Chloe Brumbaugh (7th in the 3200), and Anna Miller (8th in the 3200).
Scorers for the boys team were Aedan Mullins (6th in the 400 & 800), Austin Jenkins (7th in the 400), Johnny Miller (7th 1600), Chase Maze (6th 110 hurdles & 7th 300 hurdles), and the 7th place 4x2 team of Luke Davis, Nick Chapman, Thomas Green, and Ashton Cale.
We would also like to give a huge shoutout to our amazing athletic trainer, Kaitlin Shine, who made the trip with us! Not many trainers take the time to travel with the track team. Kaitlin has made a very positive impact on our athletic programs and our athletes are lucky to have her!
Finally, we will be back in action on Thursday April 18th for our first home track meet in a decade!!! Please come out and cheer us on!
I would also like to take a second to appreciate Kaitlin. This girl goes so far above what is required of her job every single day. She is an extremely important part of our program and far more than just our trainer. Thanks Kaitlin!

Through the district’s partnership with Artbridge, The Children’s Theater of Cincinnati came and presented the story of The Wild West Cinderella to K-3 students. The audience, third grade students, and Mr. Watson all helped to put on a wonderful performance for students! Thank you, Artsbridge for this opportunity to connect the fairy tales students are reading in the classroom with a real life production.

🚨 Important Announcement 🚨
Due to technical issues with the Ohio State Testing portal, today's testing is postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Details on rescheduling will be communicated directly from your principal. Thank you for your understanding!

Dear Parents,
Today, we were slated to begin state testing. Unfortunately, the platform used for testing across the state of Ohio was experiencing problems. In addition, they were unable to give an ETA for when the system would be up and running. Rather than spend the day waiting for it to be resolved we made the call to postpone testing until tomorrow. It is very unfortunate to prepare for this day and there be issues outside of our control. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we wait for the problem to be resolved. If the system is not fixed by tomorrow we will update you on the testing schedule.
