Members of the BHS Service Club provided Blueprints manager Melinda Waterman with 23 Halloween treat bags to gift to local foster children. The bags were filled with several Halloween-themed items such as fidget spinners, stress balls, bubbles, flashlights, candy, and more. The group would like to thank all of the community members who helped sponsor this project.
Congratulations to both the girls and boys cross country teams on a huge day at the district championships at Rio Grande yesterday! The girls got us started with a big time 5th place finish(top 6 qualify) to move on to regionals for the first time in many years. What a great race by all of the girls! The boys followed up with a district championship! Amazing race from all of the fellas! Too many outstanding performances to mention, but medalists were Blake Rodgers(5th), Shy Miller(12th), Johnny Miller (15th), and Austin Jenkins(23rd). But it was such an awesome performance by all of the runners, as you can't qualify without 5 great scores! Again congratulations to all of the runners and coaches on 2 outstanding team performances! Congratulations to the football team on a huge 31-13 win over Clay-Battelle tonight. The team really worked hard all week and put it all together tonight! Really solid team win with 5 different players scoring touchdowns! Great job tonight fellas! We are really proud of you and all of the work that you put in this year. Now to build on to it next year! Enjoy your win guys, you deserve it!
Next week, there will be two special days at Belpre High School that are sponsored by the D.A.S.H Committee with BHS Student Council. Monday is a Purple Out - to stand up against domestic violence. Tuesday is a Pink Out to support Breast Cancer Awareness. We hope to see our students and staff participate to raise awareness to these important causes.

The regular monthly meeting of the Belpre City School District will be held on Thursday October 19, 2023, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Stone Administration/Early Learning Center. This meeting is a meeting of the Belpre City School District Board of Education in public to conduct the School District’s business and is not to be considered a public community meeting.
