Belpre High School's PPD class participated in Marietta College's Jr. PioBiz. We had five teams participating in a trade show/Shark Tank competition. Our students came in second, third and fifth places. There was a judging component and a people's choice competent. They are thankful to the staff and family members that came and voted.

The Belpre Drama Club will be hosting a spring musical, Emma: A Pop Musical JV by Eric Price. The musical stars Emma, a senior at Highbury Prep school, who loves to matchmake everyone around her starting with her friend Harriet. The musical has a strong ensemble and cast of characters that navigates high school, love, social status, and economic differences. The musical is based on the Jane Austen novel, Emma, and features pop songs from famous girl bands and iconic women artists including Katy Perry, Shania Twain, and Avril Lavigne. There will be performances on the 21st of April at 7:00 p.m. and on the 22nd of April at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.. Tickets are $5 for students, $8 for veterans, and $10 for adults.

Due to field conditions, tomorrows home baseball and softball games have been moved to Fort Frye. Both games will start at 11AM.
Third term report cards are available on the parent and student portal now for grades 7-12! Log in to your Infinite Campus account, go to Documents, and then you'll see the option to pick "Third Term to Home" for report cards. If your student needs a physical copy of their report card, they can go to either HS office to request one.

March 2023 BOE Meeting
We're making chalk! Chemistry students created their own chalk from scratch using two liquids to form a solid. Students are learning about stoichiometry and predicting the yield of certain chemical reactions.
Families-- Join us Monday evening for an information meeting about vaping. Andrea Sites, Tobacco Prevention Specialist from the Washington County Health Department, will teach about the content, cost, dangers, and cessation of vaping for our preteens and teenagers. She will show us what to look out for and how to help if we suspect our child might be vaping.
The Belpre High School Student Council and the American Red Cross will be holding a Blood Drive at BHS on Tuesday, March 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please see the flyer or scan the QR code for registration information.
