A couple of schedule adjustments for Monday, January 20th. The boys basketball game at Southern will have a 3pm JV start time with varsity to follow. The girls varsity game at Warren will have a 5pm tip-off.

Time is running out to secure a free pair of glasses for your Belpre student through The Vision Van. Turn in a current prescription to the school nurse by January 21st to take advantage of this great program.
Attention all parents of sophomores and juniors! Belpre High School is hosting an informational meeting on Junior and Senior year schedule options, including our Friday option before we begin scheduling classes with students. The meeting will be on January 27th at seven o'clock in the Belpre Middle School Gymnasium (Lawton Gym). We look forward to discussing the exciting options we have available at BHS!

Our Lady Eagles got back in the win column with a dominant 66-34 win over Newcomerstown in the River City Classic at Marietta College. All of the girls were able to play a lot of minutes today and gain some valuable experience. We had a balanced scoring attack led by player of the game, Haley Alloway with 12. Shy Miller and Addy Stewart also finished in double figures with 11 and 10 respectively, as we saw 9 girls score to highlight a great day for the ladies! The girls are back at it tomorrow at 11:30 at Marietta College vs Philo. The boys take the court tomorrow night at 8:30 against Marietta, also at Marietta College.

Belpre City Schools had a special guest as a bus driver today.
The Belpre Marching Band had the opportunity to be the house band at the Ohio University Basketball Game on Wednesday. They performed the National Anthem, Stand Up and Cheer, and got the crowd and team pumped up with some great songs from their repertoire. Way to represent BHS, Pride of Belpre! The crowd loved you!
Today our winter sports athletes had the pleasure of spending some time at the elementary school. It was a really great opportunity for all of our students to bridge the age gap, be role models, and build Belpre Pride! Looking forward to the next time!
